Connect to a computer via SSH without the default port

Connecting to a different port for SSH is pretty easy. The first thing we need to do is open a the command prompt (CMD)

Once its open, type ssh -p (port number)(username)@(serverIP) and press enter

Example: ssh -p 3452 [email protected]

-p tells ssh to connect to the port we specified. In this case its 3452.

Press enter and accept any authenticity prompts by typing "yes" and pressing enter.

Enter your password and press enter. You should now see something like this

And that's it. You are now connected to SSH via the port you specified.
